Group Size: 100
Tropical North Queensland, Queensland, Australia

Departing from the hotel on a private coach at 5am, the group will have time to grab a little more shuteye on the way to Mareeba just an hours drive from Cairns in the picturesque Atherton Tablelands.  Arriving just in time to witness the massive balloons take shape the group will split into their predetermined or randomly selected teams and be briefed on this morning’s team building challenge.

With formalities over its time for take off and the excitement builds as the aerial treasure hunt begins. Armed with binoculars and a sense of humour, each team needs all eyes front and centre, with the Hot Air Ballooning team of character judges working on the ground, teams need to focus as everything looks different from above and the clues, well they can be anywhere over 360 degrees below!

Time feels suspended when floating in a hot air balloon, but the clock is ticking and each team member’s aerial orienteering skills are vital to attaining the Blue Ribbon Prize for the winning team.

At the end of the treasure hunt and back on the ground it’s all hands on deck to complete the final, fun and no less important task of packing up the balloons.  Bonus points will be awarded to first team to complete this task.

From here it’s just a short drive away to The Australian Coffee Centre at Skybury, Australia’s oldest coffee plantation for a delicious buffet breakfast and presentation to the winning team on the timber decks, that offer superb views from the Centre.

With the group revitalised after a fantastic morning, it time to transfer back to the hotel. Arrival time back to the hotel will be approximately 11.30am so there is plenty of time to freshen up, ready and refreshed to get down to business with the afternoons meeting sessions taking place.
