Arriving on a frosty evening, participants make their way through snow covered trees along an icy pathway to a building where everyone has gathered to celebrate the victory that has allowed Scotland to be free once and for all.

As participants enter the building there are people practicing sword fighting and preparing for battle, so they must be careful, not to become the butt of a joke!  Green grass peeks through snow-covered areas with stone floors and walls making the inside of the venue dim and dreary.  Torches lit on the walls give off soft light and shields of armor and swords are displayed around the room.

Tables are covered in tartan plaid with beautiful green overlays and the centerpieces are made from thistles and beautiful flowers woven into the circle.  Traditional Scottish music and performers dance the jig of traditional Scotsmen and happily show participants how it is done, but they have to have fast feet and quite a lot of brew to do it right.

Platters are served to the tables for tonight’s feast so food is plentiful and with wine and ale flowing freely all evening, hopefully there is not conference schedule for the morning!
