After breakfast the group will depart their hotel for the Daintree River just 45 minutes north of Port Douglas.

On arrival at the Daintree River, participants board their sole chartered vessels for a 1.5-hour Daintree River Cruise where they will enjoy an informative tour with their river guide, taking in the surroundings, crocodile spotting and learning about the abundance of birds and wildlife that inhabit the region.

From here the group travels further north to where the Rainforest meets the Reef - Cape Tribulation.  On arrival at Cape Tribulation, a picnic morning tea will be served before the group have time to explore the beach and rainforest board walks.  If they are lucky enough they may even come across a cassowary along the way!

Next stop is a special tropical lunch at a fantastic outdoor location, sure to impress.  The group then moves onto the Daintree Ice Cream Company to enjoy 4 flavours of delicious homemade ice cream, that’s made on site from tropical fruits grown on the property.

Its then time to depart for the hotel, stopping at Alexandra lookout along the way to take in breathtaking panoramic views from the ‘top of the Daintree’ across the Daintree River, Snapper Island and Port Douglas.

The group arrives back at Port Douglas at approximately 5.30pm with time to freshen up before this evening’s dinner.
