Vintage cars with chauffeurs meet participants at the hotel today, for a transfer back in time to a beautiful Manor House.
On arrival at the elegant Manor House, participants make their way along a path lined with flowerpots leading to an archway covered in vines, the entrance to today’s English Garden Party Luncheon.
Once through the archway, wait staff dressed in soft linen summer wear, serve refreshing long island iced teas and nibbles for participants to enjoy, as they soak up their gorgeous surroundings and are entertained by a talented duo playing the garden.
The Manors grounds are magnificent with blooming pots of flowers everywhere and a beautiful white timber wishing well, the main feature in the centre of the garden. Tables dressed in crisp white linen with umbrellas to shade participants from the sun are scattered on the lush green lawn complete with white wicker chairs, colourful cushions and baskets filled with beautiful flowers from the garden in the centre of the tables.
When lunch is ready the duo will request for participants to be seated to enjoy 3 delicious courses prepared by talented local chefs with a menu consisting of the freshest local produce available.
After lunch, its time for the games to begin as a Garden Party would not be complete without some bocce, croquet and cricket! With facilitators on hand to keep score and ensure that everyone is briefed on the rules, participants will have a load of fun competing in the round robin style tournament that finishes with a presentation to the winning team.
With lunch and games now over, the chauffeurs in their vintage cars transfer participants back to their hotel for a relaxing evening at leisure after such a wonderful day.
Suggested Group Size: Depends on availability of vintage cars available in your area, alternatively if coaches are used to transport participants then theme would also work for larger groups
Venue: If there is not a Manor House style venue available in your area then this event could be hosted in Botanical Gardens or large grassed venues (check your local councils for permission and options)
