Mission Beach, Tropical North Queensland, Queensland, Australia

Along the Great Green Way, just two hours drive south of Cairns is Mission Beach. Fourteen kilometres of a palm-fringed beach connect four villages that are collectively known as Mission Beach: South Mission Beach, Wongaling Beach, North Mission Beach and Bingil Bay.

Mission Beach is a unique meeting destination offering beachside venues, rainforest retreats and an aquatic playground with both Dunk and Bedarra Island less than 5 kilometres offshore.  Mission Beach is an idyllic getaway and perfect for small to medium groups.

The picturesque beaches give way to the tropical rainforest where you are almost certain to come across a Cassowary or the visually stunning iridescent Ulysses butterfly.

Some of the activities available from Mission Beach include white water rafting at the mighty Tully River, diving or snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef, wildlife adventures, a rainforest canopy walk, skydiving or a visit to Paronella Park.

Mission Beach is a friendly, relaxed and tranquil beachfront town that is perfect for groups that need to rejuvenate, unwind and escape from everyday life.
